If you would have told me a few years ago that I'll be leaving my family, friends and 26 years of history behind to move to Australia for love, I would probably tell you you're crazy.
But this is exactly what I did, early October 2012, after I finished packing up the remainder of my rented, sweet apartment - had one last dinner with my older brothers and my mother, and hugged them for the last time before boarding on one of two flights to Queensland, Australia.
That should be a good insight to the kind of person I am. Passionate. I take anything in life as a challenge, a project, and I am extremely dedicated towards my goals.
I have studied fashion design and always loved clothes and dressing up. Though, being plus size I was taught to believe I wasn't deemed beautiful. It was only after I lost 25kg (and gained them back a few years later) that I truly accepted that I am beautiful at any size, and that no one is going to stop me from expressing the personality that was bursting from within, through fashion and make-up.
Now I use my own experience as a fat teenager and adult to support, engage and encourage other women like myself to accept that they are beautiful as well.
I hope through this blog that I will be able to express my positivity and infect you, my readers, as well.
